Bio

Bonnie J. Ashmore is a painter and printmaker who lives and works in Massachusetts. She primarily works with waterbased media such as acrylic, gouache and waterbased printing inks.

Professional studies include a Master of Fine Arts and Post-Baccalaureate certificate in painting and study abroad in France and Italy. In addition, Bonnie was an artist in residence at Chautauqua Institution for 7 years. She has been an educator for over 20 years to students of all ages and is currently a tenured professor in the Massachusetts Community College system.

Bonnie’s painting, ‘Super Sleuth’ was juried and selected by Pulitzer prize winning art critic, Jerry Saltz, to be included in the 57th Chautauqua Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Art. Her work has been reviewed by Howard Halle, exhibited widely and is held in many private collections.
